For some reason, these two beautiful sisters remind me of fairy nymphs with sweet magic behind their eyes. There is something so special about sisterhood even from the beginning. I am an only child, so I will never know what that feels like except to see it in photos like these…

For select clients, I offer a collection called Baby’s First Year. This one I have been following since when he was still cuddled happily in mama! At 9 months he is showing this sweet wonderment that I just adore. I can’t believe he will be a year soon. Time goes by so fast…

This dear one has the most precious little one, and when she saw this tree she just fell in love. I like how it captures the other-worldliness that only a newborn brings. Magical. You can also see her gorgeous pregnancy portraiture session on my blog here.

Wow it’s been a very busy week. We moved (again) and are settled in a sweet little house about 1 mile from the beautiful ocean. I am excited to share with you what is new at the studio and all the offerings for pregnancy and newborn sessions for the year 2011. I can’t believe it is almost here!

Was wishing today that I had been able to hold my baby girl right after she was born instead of the NICU team whisking her away. Daydreaming how her skin would have felt against mine… Missing that sweet moment of touch. So today I bundled up my 6 week old like a newborn babe and got this. This photo will always remind me of that longing. I love you bear, mama.

This beautiful mama has two lovely daughters and a baby on the way. I love how the light just creates these delicate colors of softness. Can’t wait to meet baby no.3!
