This was my first twins newborn session… and I LOVED it. It is a bit more challenging but the rewards are twice as sweet. These boys were just so adorable I couldn’t stop taking photos! Their calm and patient mama is a natural already, and gave birth to these boys without a c-section! I was in awe of her… And she had this gorgeous white leather couch and white fireplace that I was drooling over… more photos soon.

If you are expecting twins or know someone who is, please let me play with your tiny ones in 2011!

This was one of those sessions that I knew would be gorgeous… without even meeting this sweet mama! We had so much fun at the beach and I just love the softness of these photos. Besides working around the random guy that kept running back and forth behind them, we couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful day in Santa Barbara. Congratulations to this fun couple and their upcoming Valentine’s day baby!

I feel like it’s finally time for some studio updates. This is a photo of my precious nook for dreaming… the photo is from a wonderful photographer in Australia, Danielle Stahl. I had her ship this gorgeous photo as inspiration and I love how it turned out! Anyway, for the news… Meg Fish photography has been in business since October 2008, so it is over two years old. It feels like I have been around forever… in a very good way! I am currently taking only new clients who are pregnant or expecting a newborn. Older families and children will be referred to another wonderful photographer in town. Last year I offered gorgeous Obrien & Schride frames to the first clients of January 2010. This year I want to offer something a little more special to celebrate the new year…

ALL my newborn baby girls for January 2011 will receive a custom Meg Fish Photography couture hair band from Hair Pretties!

ALL my newborn baby boys will receive a knit bear hat from Babies Republic on etsy!

Because I take limited sessions per month, if you are interested in booking for January 2011, please contact me as soon as possible so I can fit you in. These sweet gifts are valid until my January is completely full!

Also in the news, Meg Fish Photography now offers hanging baby photos to clients who request it. There are new products offered for 2011, please check out my website and browse the products gallery for images! I am also proud to be a part of NAPCP, the National Association of Professional Children’s Photographers. They have a great blog for you to learn more about the business and what I do.

Another 6 pounder who made my heart leap when I saw her snuggled in mom and dad’s white bed. This bitty one posed for two hours without eating, without a peep! I was thoroughly impressed… plus she was born with tan summer skin and beach colored hair. Gotta love those Cali babies! And what a gorgeous mama…

This sweet 6 pounder was such a darling. We laid her on the blanket and she just stretched out like a kitty and snuggled in! I have never seen a newborn who loved to stretch out her legs as much as this one. And she smiled for almost every shot… I definitely caught a few that just warmed my heart!
